I was getting used to our melamine counters, and accessing the top drawers of our cabinets without having to open them 😜.. but today they arrived..
from the mountains of Brazil to Toronto to Stoney Creek where it was cut and fashioned to fit our home.. this gorgeous slab of granite made its way to Jordan Station today. It’s cold.. very cold.. but beautiful.
Now you can see how beautifully the stools fit in.
Here’s some views around the kitchen.
And close up of the slabs in different areas of the kitchen, highlighted by different lighting.
I chose a 45 degree edge to complement our cabinetry. But with rounded edges so no major injuries when walking into it. 😫
Our farmers sink fits in perfectly now..
And finally. For those of you who haven’t been able to picture where the kitchen is in relation to Dining and living room.. and front entrance.. (note, our previous front entrance was where the stove/microwave are now.)
It’s such a lovely wide open space just waiting to be filled.. and yes, there’s still a bit of orange..😁
